Located in Paso Robles, Saint Rose Catholic School’s Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten programs provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment where young children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Preschool Program

Under the guidance of Preschool Director Streeta Farrell, the Saint Rose preschool program is limited to 48 children per day and is divided into two age-specific groups to ensure developmentally appropriate instruction and care.

Students entering preschool must be at least 2 years and 8 months old and fully potty-trained.

Each day, students participate in faith-filled educational activities during Circle Time, along with play-based exploration, sensory learning, creative arts, and outdoor discovery on our large preschool playground. Through these experiences, children develop confidence, curiosity, independence, and foundational skills that prepare them for future learning.

Transitional Kindergarten

Saint Rose Catholic School also offers a comprehensive Transitional Kindergarten program for students who will be eligible for Kindergarten the following school year.

Our TK curriculum provides a strong foundation for future academic success by preparing students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally for the transition to Kindergarten. The program blends structured instruction with hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and faith formation.

Students build early literacy and math skills while developing independence, self-confidence, and the social-emotional tools needed to thrive in elementary school.
